Re: Question on Calculator tool and smart histogram manual

Robin: I am getting much lower sub exposures as my read noise at Gain 123 for the IMX410 teamed with f/4 system, Bortle 4.9, Q.E. 85%>>>>~1.8 seconds..Read noise is quite low at this Gain with this sensor With the IMX571 at Gain 100, read noise is 1.03e, f/1.8 Hyperstar, same Bortle, Q.E. 80%>>>>1.5...

Sensor analysis portability

Hi Robin:

Where is the sensor analysis information stored and how do I move the camera specific analysis to another computer if I want to move the camera to another scope?

Thanks,

Re: Series of sequences

Hi Robin:

Sounds exciting but not sure if I will have it mastered right away. Good to know it can be done though!

Series of sequences

How do I set up and execute several series of sequences? For example I set up 240 subs of 30 seconds of M33 followed by the same settings for NGC1499 etc. same Gain, same dithering values, plate solving , PhD2 guiding etc...? I am finding doing one sequence quite easy but I would like to do several ...

Re: Questions on best use of Sensor Analysis

Hi Robin:

I want to know how I get the calculation window displayed which makes recommendations as to what Gain, number of exposures and subs I should make for sequence. I can click on the brain but I want the information that the manual shows.

Questions on best use of Sensor Analysis

What would yield better results all things being equal 5 seconds of 720 subs or 20 seconds of 180 subs, Gain being equal in all cases and total integration being 1 hour..? What if two 1 hour integrations are stacked together? I did an exposure regimen of G=100, E=20s, total subs =180, HCG with my Ma...
