QHY 174 GPS - Cal LED on with every preset loading
Hello! QHY 174 GPS - Since several SC versions I have a small but annoying problem: (Almost?) every time after loading a preset the calibration LED is on. (visible stray light in the picture) I have to switch the LED on and off manually in SC. OS is Win10 pro. SC is always the current non-beta versi...

Night Vision Colours also for GPS-window
Hello Robin, SC 3.2.6482 and camera QHY 174 GPS <would be quite helpful> When I switch on Night Vision Colours in SC, the GPS window stays at its bright colours. It would be nice if that also gets the darker colours. <nice to have> Maybe there could also be a switch for the colour scheme on the prog...

Re: How to completely reset a QHY 174 / SC installation?
Hi Christian, Why this driver - because it is the latest one on the QHY site. What do I know which driver to use and which is better not. :o Robin didn't post that. But according to his postings elsewhereo, it's not clear to him either what exactly QHY is trying out there.... By the way, QHY disting...

Re: How to completely reset a QHY 174 / SC installation?
Hello Robin, Thanks for your quick reply! Now is already better than before. But sometimes the USB connection still breaks, also I have unusually many dropped frames. Tried another USB3 cable, no change. And the camera suddenly doesn't find GPS anymore... strange... Somewhere is still the worm in it...

How to completely reset a QHY 174 / SC installation?
Hello Robin, Since a SC beta test, my QHY174GPS camera is not working properly. Every time I make a change in the SC settings, the USB connection crashes: The computer plays the sound "USB disconnected", all displays freeze etc. Often enough this happens even during operation. Sometimes it...

bright stripe in the image
Hello! After problems with a beta test of SC 3.3, I went back to SC 3.2. But one problem remained: There is a bright stripe in all images. Testframe.jpg (The midtones in the image are strongly pulled up to better see the effect.) To solve the problem I have.. - upgraded the computer to Win 10 Pro 64...

Re: SharpCap 3.3 Beta Now Available
Hi Robin, Thank you for the explanations! Even if my problem might have something to do with SC 3.3, it is a bit off-topic here - sorry. Yesterday I wanted to observe an occultation. Again the image froze when switching to 16bit mode. After restarting the camera and SC (3.2.6433.0) I could use 16bit...

Re: SharpCap 3.3 Beta Now Available
Hi Robin, Unfortunately I had massive problems with SC 3.3 (32bit, on Win 8.1 Pro 64bit, HP Elitebook 8540p, SSD, 8GB RAM) Camera: QHY174GPS First I loaded and started the 64bit version. But then there were some hints about unsupported functions and your general advice to use 32bit. So I also loaded...
