Re: Mini-Histogram Stretch Button
From the manual, adjustments to the Black Level, Mid-Level and White Level do not affect the shape or position of the histogram shown in the LIve Stacking panel. for reasons lost in the mists of time, the live stack histogram does reflect the adjustments made by using the vertical R/G/B sliders to ...

Re: Mini-Histogram Stretch Button
When doing DSO live stacking with an OSC camera and using the Live Stack Histogram it can be difficult to see the fine adjustments to RGB, especially when using the ±0.1dB changes. With Lock Stretch ON the Mini-Histogram RGB curves can provide a better visual for fine adjustments but it's a fairly ...

Built in NGC Catalog Errors
I have been using the Goto Coord/Catalog function (which works very well) but am noticing that some objects in the built-in NGC catalog have location errors. When I go to the Soul Nebula, the mount syncs and recenters the object and it is off about half a degree or so. When I do a plate solve it rep...

Re: New Feature : SharpSolve - SharpCap's new built-in plate solver
Been using SharpSolve with my 6" imaging newt (610mm focal length) and it works way better than ASTAP in terms of both reliability and speed. The real test was last night with my Canon camera lens widefield setup (200mm focal length, f/2.8) with my Antlia ALP-T filter installed (5nm dual band)....

Re: Pause and resume guiding automatically
Robin,
Had a chance to try 11351 last night and the new stop and start of guiding works beautifully!
Thank you!

Re: Pause and resume guiding automatically
Robin, I have a theory (wild guess?) as to why the pause command is getting stuck. There is one additional piece of information that I didn't include in my above report that now, given your concerns, may be pertinent. The screenshot that I took above was before the entire GoTo script finished. Actua...

Re: Pause and resume guiding automatically
Robin, I just got back in myself and can confirm Don's results that the pause guiding step you put in doesn't work. The 'Pause Guiding Temporarily' step just hour glasses and PHD just complains until you manually stop it (see pic). Pause Guiding Error.jpg Now, you mentioned that the GoTo is using th...

Re: Pause and resume guiding automatically
sadly that approach doesn't work for selecting targets - the sequencer can GOTO a pre-defined target, but not let you select a target. Not sure what you mean here. My idea was to use the sequencer to stop the guiding and then call the GoTo window and then have the sequence terminate. You would then...
