Cool down and warm up routine for ProTec cameras

Robin, What is the chance of setting a time to cool / warm chips up? My 1600M ProTec on heavy dew nights is getting dew on the heated window as it cannot cope, this is in part I think due to not coping during the rapid cool down. I am going to experiment tonight reducing the temp slowly manually Simon

Sorted it, it was a live stack setting that was messing me up, all back to normal now.

ive stack saving image as PNG rather than the selected FITS

The last couple of times I have used live stack and although FITS is selected sharpcap is saving the raw files as PNG.

Using latest version of Sharpcap with ALTAIR 1600m Pro Te with windows 10.

Dave, Thanks for that and it was what I was already thinking, might make up a dark library for generic settings and have to recapture darks and bias for anything else. I already scout out Astrobin before any new target to get a starting point. I am normally doing 30 subs unguided (F5.6) but looking ...

I have been imaging for about a year now and always looking for ways to improve so recently started using SharpCap to work out my exposure and gain settings for my different filters for an image. Do I need to take a set of darks and bias for each filter as exposure and gain are different each time? ...
