Re: Dithering
Robin; I've been using SharpCap for 10m+ exposures for over 6 months now, your facebook group shared many of my long exposure images. I think if the dithering function in SharpCap is changed from based on time to based on how many frames at the preset exposure already defined during the live stack, ...

Re: Dithering
Robin;
Just imagine how much of a pain it is to discard a 10 minute frame because of that and use that as motivation to release that ASAP, thanks

Re: 3-star alignment versus SharpCap plate solves /syncs
Three star alignment? What’s that?! I use the Atlas Pro with EQMOD and I haven’t done the star alignment in over a year since I started using plate solving. There is no reason I can come up with to use the Star alignment process once you have plate solving up and running with SharpCap.

Dithering
Hello; I'm not sure if I'm missing something, but I've been having issues with dithering and it's really a nuisance when doing narrowband long exposures. Every time a dither is issued I'm having to lose a frame for it. This is fine when doing 30s-120s exposures losing a frame for the good of the dat...

Re: Plate Solve & Sync
Robin; Yes, that is correct it’s syncing to the same location every time just a bit off the FOV. This wasn’t a major issue when I used 102MM it wasn’t centered but inside the FOV. This is a whole new problem with 9.25. The mount is Atlas Pro and using EQMOD. I have All Sky Plate Solver which was con...

Plate Solve & Sync
Hello; I've been having a problem with my Plate Solve and Sync. When I have been using my Refractors 102mm and 80mm, when using the Plate Solve & Sync, SharpCap would send the scope with the target somewhere within the frame, not center, but well within the frame for me to manually adjust. Howev...
