Re: Atik Horizon Intermittent Connection Issue
Thanks Robin! I do have the latest Atik core installed. Good suggestion...I'll take a look at device manager the next time it glitches although I don't seem to have the same issue with my ASI2600 in the same USB train? Also, am I recalling correctly that you were able to successfully add native supp...

Atik Horizon Intermittent Connection Issue
Hi, I have a Atik Horizon OSC "classic" camera, not the newer Horizon II, and just started using SC 4.1. I've noticed an intermittent connection issue when starting SC and getting it to recognize the Horizon. It probably connects successfully at startup 75% of the time. This is after alway...

Re: Saving The Livestack Window Position
Robin-
4.1 solved the window postitiong issue for me! I'm so pleased with how it works with my iOptron CEM40EC. The pulse guiding option frees me from the additional hassle of a guide scope, etc. Thanks for all that you did to perfect 4.1!
Best Wishes,
Craig

Thanks Robin!
I'm sure I don't have the latest version of 4...it's so hard to keep up with you ...so I'll download the latest one and give it a try.
Thanks and have a wonderful holiday season!

Saving The Livestack Window Position
Greetings All! I've started to use SC 4 more often now after many enjoyable years working with 3. I find that with 4, I have to reposition and resize the livestack/histogram window each time I start the program This didn't seem to be the case with 3. I prefer to shrink it quite a bit and place it ne...

Re: Flats are overcompensating for vignetting
Thanks Dave,
200ms exposure for that one. Well, on to the next round of imaging! SC 4 seems to be playing well with my rig now.
Thanks so much for all of your input!
Best wishes,
Craig

Re: Flats are overcompensating for vignetting
Thanks Brian and Dave More good info! As I mentioned earlier I only take 2 or 3 dark frames for most of my imaging sessions averaging a total of about 1 1/2 hours. I used only 2 for this session as appeared that was sufficient for the ASI2600mc. I'll plan to add more in my next session and see how t...

Re: Flats are overcompensating for vignetting
Morning Dave, Well I've done some more experimentation since our exchange yesterday. I captured some new master flats indoors last evening with a lightbox app on my tab using your suggested ADU ranges and analyzed them with Liberator (love that program BTW!). I also captured some flats early in this...
