Thanks for the advice - I did as suggested and manually reinstalled both Sharpcap and Altair Capture and my 183C is now working again in Sharpcap.

I switched over from my 183M to my 183C Pro Tec today and yet when I launched Sharpcap although it lists the 183C as an available camera I get an error across the top saying "Error occusred connecting to the camera" and suggesting I restart Sharpcap and/or disconnect camera and reconnect. ...

I am having precisely the same issue with Plate Solver and Astrotortilla - I have searched everywhere for this 'solve-field' location and it does not exist.

I should add that I am able to use Sharpcap and the same camera on my Sony Vaio laptop which is a 4GB RAM 64bit Win10 system fine - no crashes.

I thought by adding 2GB more RAM it might help but it didn't - the crashes occurred at the PC basic config of 4GB RAM too. I have Windows 7 32 bit running on the PC.
