Settings Filename Tab Issue
Hi Robin, This is not a bug per se but more of a unwanted behaviour issue, in the filenames tab of settings I had setup custom naming conventions and locations this was done a long time ago yesterday I decided I wanted to add a parameter to the raw frames and went to click the ? mark to get a list o...

Re: Colour + Mono Camera Combination
Hi Robin, Thaks for that looks like I need to start saving, with the combining of the colour and mono integration frames that is fairly easy as I can get APP to register them against each other and then save out the registered TIFF's at 32bit and then just load these into affinity as they will align...

Re: Scope Control max Step Size
Assuming you are talking about a sequence I have a focus sequence I use (well several actually depending on the situation) I had the same issue with 1000 so just manually edited the sequence file with notepad and it runs fine. I have one that moves the focuser -/+40,000 steps if it's really out of f...

Re: Colour + Mono Camera Combination
Thanks, Dave, for the heads up on the post have had a read and think I will definitely consider the second camera so I can try the same type of process it will be interesting to see how much colour data is actually needed to get a good image using the Monochrome as the luminance. Missed your post or...

Re: Colour + Mono Camera Combination
Hi Robin, Thanks for the info will give it some serious thought especially as Christmas is on the way might treat myself :D . In terms of the loss of photons would this hold true for RGB filters in front of a Mono camera as I have been doing some more reading a elsewhere and people are saying you ar...

Colour + Mono Camera Combination
So I was having a debate with a friend who also images about colour and mono cameras. I have a ASI1600MMPro which has pretty much been left in its case for two years as I bought a ASI2600MC Pro and like the simplicity even if I don't get the punch I did with the 1600MM + 5nm Astrodon filters. What w...

Re: R & B channels lost ASI2600MMC Pro
I don't have a solution, but I have the same camera and use it with the latest version of SharpCap 64bit and was imaging this weekend. I use the Livestack and save the individual frames off and used the auto colour balance as well as the auto stretch and both of these were working fine with my ASI26...

Re: NGC7023 Iris Nebula
