Thanks again Robin,
I will experiment with this and send a screenshot if I cannot get a decent U shape.

Re: Auto focusing using multiple stars
Robin, Thanks for that. If I have understood you correctly then with my current settings a shallow plot is to be expected and not necessarily a problem? However, I will experiment with the "out of focus - in focus - out of focus" range and settings to try and minimize the uncertainty of th...

Re: Auto focusing using multiple stars
Hi chongo228, Thanks for your reply. Here is some data that might throw some light on the issue. (I should have included this in my original post.) I didn't take any screen shots but I will next time (whenever that will be!). My settings are (SharpCap 4): Scan Step Size 50; Max Step count 16; Sample...

Auto focusing using multiple stars
hi, I have recently had success with auto focusing using multiple stars and my Sesto Senso / ASCOM set up. My focus scan is very flat, with not much difference around the "Best Position" point. Question is this shallow graph OK, or should it be steeper? any feedback would be greatly apprec...

Re: Dithering in Sequencer
Thanks again Robin. I will check this out using EDMOD to look for movement. Regardless of the outcome I will carry out a real imaging session and hope that all is OK. I will use a proper profile for my setup. I should see the movements when I look at my files in PI Blink. Thanks again for your help....

Re: Dithering in Sequencer
Hi again, I have set up a Simulator PHD2 profile as suggested and this works. However I can see no dithering when running the sequencer. Please see attached files (PHD2 and Sequencer settings), in the hope the the mistake I am making is obvious to an experienced eye. The PHD2 Dither settting is set ...

Dithering in Sequencer
Hi, I've been looking through the posts but can't find what I am looking for. My problem is that during a dayligh run, (not a daylight test run), dithering does not seem to happen. I am trying to learn the Sequencer, so I am doing a lot of testing indoors. I use a pylon about one kilometer outside m...

Re: Upgrading from 3.0 to 3.2 on PrimaluceLab Eagle 2
Hi Nick,
I now, (eventually!), understand that as PrimaluceLab Eagle has windows 10 Enterprise installed, users therefore should not be able to update any part of the operating system.
How did you manage to update .net framework on your Eagle?
Thanks
Colin
